Clinicians can migrate the charted information to the correct patient as well as delete the source patient record. Make sure the case or cases are unlocked prior to migrating.
- In Anesthesia Touch, in the Patient List, tap the patient record and Intraop.
- At the bottom, tap Other and Migrate Patient.
- From the patient list, tap the correct patient record and Switch.
- Tap Ok in the dialog box to confirm.
- In the Patient List, tap the incorrect record and Intraop.
- Tap Other and Delete Case.
- In the dialog box, tap Yes to confirm.
Deleting the incorrect case will only delete the entries created in Anesthesia Touch. It will not delete the patient or the scheduled appointment.
After deleting the incorrect record, that patient can be used to chart a new case. The information migrated to the correct patient can now be used to continue charting for that case.
If the patient’s record isn’t on the Migrate Patient list, then you will need to delete the correct patient’s empty record and then migrate the incorrect patient.
