Importing Data into the PreOp Document for a Returning Patient

If a patient was seen previously in Anesthesia Touch, the app can import some demographic data (even if the patient did not have a scheduled appointment). To import the data, do the following:

1. In Anesthesia Touch, in the Patient List, tap + New Patient.
2. Tap Docs, New, and Anesthesia PreOp Evaluation
   
   
3. In the Demographics dialog, enter the MRN of the patient you want to use and tap Next.
   
4. The patient’s demographic information will be displayed. Tap Save.
   

When the PreOp form opens, additional data can be imported from prior PreOps. To view prior dates of service when PreOps were completed in Anesthesia Touch, do the following:

1. Tap Import at the bottom.
   
2. From the menu, select the date for the desired visit.
   
3. Anesthesia Touch will populate the history from the selected PreOp. The current PreOp can be charted and updated as usual (including importing other data as configured).
