Coronis Health will update Anesthesia Touch in the App Store to version 4.5.203 on Monday, October 27th. Users and organizations should update the iPadOS client as soon as possible after that. This release is focused on fixes and improvements, including workflow improvements for the Anesthesia PreOp, the IntraOp Summary View and Printout, and new configurable support for Ideal Body Weight calculations in drugs.
What’s New?
- To make vitals easier to read in the vitals graph when an Arterial pressure and Non-Invasive pressure are being received, Anesthesia Touch will show the labels (numeric value) for the Arterial pressure in the grid and hide the Non-Invasive labels (all values are recorded in the text grid below)
- To provide more information when available, if document printouts are configured to show "Electronically signed by…" and the provider's title is entered in WebAdmin in Anesthesia Touch, the title will now be included with the provider name
- Fixes and Improvements
Additional Notes
- To highlight previous airway findings for a returning patient, airway findings documented in the previous visit can be configured to populate the PreOp Assessment
- To standardize the display of drugs dosed by body weight, optional support is now available to show drug dosages using an Ideal Body Weight (IBW) rather than the real weight, through drug configuration
- To better support variation in requirements between procedure types, IntraOp reminders for blood loss and urine output can now be configured to be template specific
- To better support exporting the Pharmacy Usage Report (drug administration data) to other medication reconciliation systems, updates to the CSV export were made and files can be dropped via SFTP via configuration
- To better support workflows where an image is required, a validation can be added to remind clinicians to open and use Image Capture to attach images
- To share data from PreOp screenings to multiple Anesthesia Touch instances (e.g., if one site does PreOp interviews, but the group has multiple Anesthesia Touch domains), PreOp Clinic documents from one site can be documented and shared with another Anesthesia Touch site
- Addresses issues related to Single-Sign-On support when a facility provided IDP is being used (e.g., ADFS, SAML 2.0)
- Addresses issues with the Med Recon feature and Pharmacy Usage report when using Pharmacy Connect (requires license)
- Improvements to handling the status of cases cancelled within Anesthesia Touch in both the Patient List and outbound-interfaces
- Improved time entry and time zone support
