Coronis will update Anesthesia Touch in the App Store to version 4.5.201 on Wednesday, July 17th. Users and organizations must update the iPadOS client as soon as possible on the 17th.
The new version supports ADFS SAML 2.0, allowing facilities to enable Single Sign-On (SSO) for users and manage authentication in their own identity provider (e.g., multifactor authentication).
This release also makes PreOp Clinic a role-based feature, restricting PreOp Clinic creation and updating to specific users with the role in Web Admin (and removing those features for others). This feature also supports Patient List census "tagging" features to highlight when cases have been marked in the Patient Info dialog in the main list (e.g., "tagging" a case as OB Service, Pain Service, etc.).
What's New?
- Anesthesia Touch now supports ADFS/SAML for SSO and MFA (no VPN required). Contact support for information on setting up ADFS/SAML with Anesthesia Touch.
- PreOp Clinic features will now be role-restricted, so only PreOp Clinic users will be able to initiate and interact with PreOp Clinic.
- Assigned tags will now appear on the case rows in the Patient List to make the census tagging for a case (e.g., OB Service) more visible.
- The CSV can now be delivered as a scheduled file drop to support access to the Pharmacy Usage Report in Web Admin. Contact support for information on the new outbound interface capability.
Assigning the PreOp Clinic Role
To assign the PreOp Clinic role in Web Admin, go to Users, click the pencil icon, and select PreOp Clinic.
Click the down arrow and Save.
