Is automatic MRN or Account Number numbering available in Anesthesia Touch?

No, current functionality in Anesthesia Touch does not support automatic MRN or Account Number numbering. These identifiers must come from an external interface (such as scheduling) or be entered matching those assigned in the system of record. 

When clinical users are starting documents for new patients, such as emergency patients, Anesthesia Touch can be configured to require certain structures for MRN or Account Number. For example, requiring an "M" at the beginning of MRN. To inquire about restricting these fields, contact PTG support via email with a written description of the pattern required.
