Guide to Medication Requests

For any medication request, start by using the "New Medication" macro to gather information. 

Complete in requests in Production and QA environments. 

PreOp Medications:

1. Create a Deployment Jira with a Sub-Config Request. 

Formulary:

1. Add to the Formulary - WebAdmin -> Admin -> Formulary -> Drug Formulary (https://<sitename>.plexus.cloud/Anesthesia/FormularyDrugs.aspx)
2. Add to Drug Delivery Options - WebAdmin -> Admin -> Formulary -> Drug Delivery Options (https://<sitename>.plexus.cloud/Anesthesia/FormularyRouteUnits.aspx).

**Do not type the drug name fully in. Just type a few letters and select it when it displays.

PhFormulary Drug = brand name (can leave blank)

Is Time Based = (if needed, submit a Jira)

Order = (leave blank)

Smart Meds:

1. Add to Smart Buttons - WebAdmin -> Admin -> Touch Configs -> Smart Buttons (https://<sitename>.plexus.cloud/Anesthesia/SmartButtons.aspx)
2. Choose a "Smart buttons" option and then add or remove from the "Medications" list.
