MDM Configuration for iPadOS

It is possible for clients to configure Anesthesia Touch to be deployed via MDM on iPadOS and then for an initial configuration to be loaded when Anesthesia Touch first runs on the managed iPad device. This requires the device be managed and the IPA distributed via that management. 

Once a user has set any settings in Anesthesia Touch, the MDM deployed configuration will be ignored. In general, after the initial load of settings, the configured settings will not be changed. This allows users to add QA servers and for users to setup iPads to access multiple sites when appropriate. 

In general, the MDM configuration is only intended for the very limited use case of initial setup with fully managed devices. At this time, Plexus TG does not provide MDM consultation for clients (There are a large number of solutions on the market and many have their own unique features.)

The application uses the NSUserDefaults API and the standardUserDefaults property. An example ManagedAppConfig.plist and ManagedAppConfigSetup.xml are attached to this article for reference.
